As he approaches the two ladies, they greet him with smiles. "Well, hello, mister!"

When Felix finally does stop for the, the innkeep hands him a small pouch of coins. "There's that discount we discussed. You earned in."

- OOC: I will total his tips and other coins once everyone has settled in for the night. (He basically giving you a rebate).

After she is greeted by the sailors, Gemma will make polite small talk until she is able to get away to her sleeping quarters. She, Miriam, and Brody will rest until sunrise, although she will have Miriam and Brody wake her up if anyone tries to touch her or her things. Once the night has passed, she will wake up, nibble on a piece of jerky from her pack, and head to the dock to wait for the rest of the party.

She leaves a coin for the lass, and makes her way to the streets near the temple.

Jasmine (with Drakor possibly in tow) does not get very far. She runs into Iris just a few blocks away from the inn.

Alright. Merrill assumes Taryk is going to be figuring out his own bedding arrangements with the ladies so she'll see if Felix wants to split the cost for a double.

Felix also earned 4 coins from tips. So, even if he pays for the rooms, he'll have 1 coin more than he had when he walked in.

When (if) Felix pays him, the innkeep will hand him five room keys.

- OOC: Those are all doubles. So, anyone who wants to sleep at the inn just needs to see Felix for a key.

- OOC: This was posted 2 days ago. I don't want to make everyone wait TOO long for this play out. So, let's just say that the drunken Taryk and the two pretty ladies ladies retire to one of the rooms that Felix bought.

- OOC: For the same reason, if Jasmine and Iris and Drakor have nothing left to do before bed, can we assume they made it into one of the rooms that Felix paid for? If so, then I think we can skip forward to morning.

Felix flips the remaining coin to the barwench and retires to one of the rooms, on the floor.

OOC: How far from the bar to where I camped last night? If Merrill and Iris can share a room, I can save a few coins by just keeping my camp.

OOC: It would take you 6 hours to walk back to the camp site. Besides, Felix already paid for a room for everyone.

OOC: Do you mean when you texted me? The last post I see from you on the forum is when you got up to leave the inn and search for Iris). In the text, you did ask me some questions about going to bed, but I was under the impression that you wanted to post something.

Iris and  Jasmine return to the inn, just a few steps behind Drakor. Finding Felix still in the common room, they receive keys from the generous bard and head directly to bed.

The rooms at Northwind's sails are relatively small, but surprisingly cozy. Then again, maybe the wooden walls and ceilings only make the rooms look small? Either way, luxurious rugs cover the bedroom floors, allowing your feet to stay warm when you step softly to your bed.

In each room, the outer wall is bowed slightly and presents a small circular window, allowing you to easily peer down at the street below.

- OOC: Okay, now everyone is in bed (some at the inn, some elsewhere). My next post will fastforward us to morning.

You all sleep peacefully through the night and awake to the smell of breakfast emanating from the kitchen. Those of you who slept at the inn (or alternately, in the stables) return to the common room and are greeted by the morning staff. (The night staff has gone home, so Pobby isn't here). You do notice that the menu board has been changed ...
